The pad on the front of block below cylinder head mounting surface is 0018788 yd as shown.

The casting number is 9799914 which was used exclusively in the 1970 model year. This is an original Pontiac 400 shortblock engine. The cylinder show some corrosion as shown which will clean up during the rebuilding process. This block would be great for your spacial project.
