The bolt is used to mount an exhaust heat shield the block. Condition: this engine block was taken from a 2011 M3 coupe with 129k miles. There is one broken bolt at the rear of edge housing, on drivers side. Details can be viewed in the photos.

The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The other cylinder walls are all very smooth and healthy looking. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The block exterior has no other damage.
